Three way tie-Limp Bizkit, Creed, and The Eagles. If I had more time I could elaborate, but these three bands contain all the elements of horrible rock music.

"Hotel California" is a decent song but way overrated. The Eagles are a boring, overrated band.

Limp Bizkit-Combines the worst, most superficial aspects of hip hop and hard rock to make songs for morons who can't handle quality music. It looks like they may be slipping off the pop culture radar now, but for a while they were the best example of fluff packaged as heavy music.

Creed-Probably the worst band that's ever sold millions of albums. Boring, unoriginal music combined with stupid, whiny lyrics. See also Staind, Seether, Shinedown, etc. : bands inspired by the early nineties "grunge" (hate that label) like A.I.C., Nirvana, Pearl Jam, these bands make music that emulates their influences but without the intelligence, soul, and tunefulness (is that a word) that made the originals so great.

I don't like the Game, saw him life and he s*cked heavily. Someone shoot him nine times please. Fifty cent only has an ear for tunes that may seem good in first order, but second and third hearing made me see the crappy "blee bloo blee". I also strongly dislike the so called "rock"-girls like Avril Lavigne and Kelly Clarckson, they totally abuse the " greet the devil" sign, and are in my opinion not to be considered "rock". they're lame, and I bet they would start crying when they'd hear some of the true rock out there, shiver in fright , they would! And what is up with the so called " rappers" nowadays? Conspiring with Britney spears ( blaaah) and all of her side-effects, singing along with Mariah carey for crying out loud... WHY? that ain't good for their credibility. Most rappers forget the roots of rap, and they are now smothering away with their bling and ther "Crystal", rapping about how poor they were in there youth... it does away all of the effects real rap used to have... anyway, metal is still my kind of music, I don't care about those other things, aslong as I can put on my headphones and let KoRn, Metallica , Hatebreed, Rammstein and Children of Bodom play with my eardrums.

I don't listen to Mariah's music, but I'm going to have to run to her defense. She has an amazing voice and an impressive vocal range. Britney cannot sing (this is not an opinion, it is a fact). Mariah has talent that I feel has been and is currently being wasted on commercially viable (crappy) music. Britney is pure product. The folks in charge of pop music decided that Britney was the girl they wanted to sell and then they successfully sold her. They convinced young girls that she could sing and dance (no), they attempted to sell her as a role model (said she was a virgin and intended to stay that way until married, and at the same time shamelessly played upon sexuality in a way that was detrimental to adolescents.) They also convinced males that she was the sexiest female alive-she was kind of cute, but not especially so.
She is not in the same category as Mariah, or even Christina Aguilera or Kelly Clarkson; the latter three can at the very least be confident in their own talent.

i agree with you. i don't really have anything against Britters, because she's probably a lovely girl and it can't have been easy being that product at such a young age when you don't really understand what you're doing. but the way she sings pisses me off, that little baby voice she uses. Jessica bloody Simpson uses it too. it's annoying. and i don't think either of them are all that good looking. Christina is the pick of the bunch for me, her voice is amazing.

to me, three of the worst songs of all time are:

Every metalcore band in the world (almost). Really, mostly because of the stuff that they share with the bands mentioned above: UGLY, SAD, CRAPPY clean vocals. I really feel ill everytime I hear those minor key-based choruses. And everytime it sounds the same.

And don't get me wrong, I love clean vocals in metal, but not in that way.
