eh, i don't buy vinyl. i don't really see the point, unless you're trying to get more "scene points." i like cd quality, thank you very much. i only have one 7", and that is one with a bonus death cab song on it. plus, i have no idea how to work my parents' (extremely old) record player.

Ah, unfortunately vinyl has become kind of "scene," but I've been collecting and listening to vinyl for a long time - don't let anyone tell you there are no benefits to listening to records! It's a fun thing to get into, and some things do sound better on vinyl, especially electronic music. So Postal Service is a good one to go out and get.
I had a heck of a time finding my copy. First my local source went out of business while I was waiting for them to get a copy from Sub Pop. Then I found a copy online, ordered it, and was told later that they didn't have it after all. I eventually got it here at Elusive Disc. It'll cost you $15.99, but it's well worth it, in my opinion. The bonus 12" that comes with it is pretty sweet. Tracklisting: 01. there's never enough time 02. we will become silhouettes (performed by the shins) 03. such great heights (performed by iron and wine) 04. suddenly everything has changed (flaming lips cover) 05. the district sleeps tonight (dj downfall persistent beat mix) 06. such great heights (john tejada remix) |
