The Killers

What do you guys think of them? I brought there album a while back and all i can say is it's... OK, It's average. I'm not normally someone who is a fan of this sort of music (preffer heavier, guns n roses etc).

I saw them live once, it was at live 8 in london. They were again OK, they're one of these bands who dont sound the same live though.

Any opinions?

I've never really listened to them but they seem like a decent enough band from the one or two songs that I've heard from them, but I think that they aen't really my type of music but a decent enough band.

Mmm, the Killers are enjoyable. They're not amazing, or unique, or anything like that, but they are definitely a fun band. I've seen them twice... extremely fun, because it basically just turns into a huge dance party, haha.

i have a few tracks of theirs.
originally i wasn't into them but a friend got me in, and since then ive got quite a few tracks.

I dont believe The Killers are Indie.

I would say they are much more towards "Pop/Rock" than anything else.

That said, I like Mr. Brightside and Somebody Told Me but the rest of their songs are pretty mediocre.

I agree with Sabre. The only song that I enjoy listening to is Mr. Brightside, the rest are just okay...

i saw them 2 years ago when no one knew who they were. not even me. they were opening for stellastarr and phantom planet.

anyways, i loved them, but now they're so overplayed and trite i can't stand it. yes, hot fuss was brilliant, but you can only take so much of it.

I know what you mean, I like some of their songs but I hear them all the time on the radio and TV and it just makes them anoying and boring.

i kinda like their slightly glam style. It IS fun... pulls you out of the blues. the music is extremely upbeat and the lyrics are different - which is what i look for. But i wish they were not so over-hyped or played. Coz they cant survive being overplayed!!

My friend has seen them live here in the UK and apparently they were brilliant. As above, the Bravery aren't great, but I really like The Killers, even though they all look kinda weird!

I really enjoyed their Hot Fuss album, and I cannot wait for their next album. My favourite song on the album is probably Mr. Brightside, just like everyone else who loves them. Unfortunately I have not been to one of their concerts

I love the Killers, they are one of my favorite bands. I can not wait to get to vegas to check out the music scene since that is where they are from as well as my favorite band Panic at the Disco.
