Re: Favorite Book

Woo, a fellow fan! Flowers for Algernon is my favourite book (before reading this book it was very difficult for me to pick out one book that I liked above the rest, but this one is definitely it). It's such a beautiful, moving book. The last four pages are a heart-wrencher indeed; when he thinks that his decline is his own fault, something that he's done wrong, and that he's praying that he'll still at least be able to read and write -- so sad.

It's actually called the Picture of Dorian Gray.

My favorite book is either The Perks of Being a Wallflower or The Catcher in the Rye.

Re: Favorite Book

My two favorites are The Fountainhead - Ayn Rand.
And Franny and Zooey - J.D. Salinger.
Both books are phenomenal and the writing is spectacular.
Great fiction.

Re: Favorite Book

So many to choose from hehe, well in no particular order, here are some that come to mind:

The Joy Luck Club - Amy Tan
A Leaf in the Bitter Wind - Ting-xing Ye
Touching the Void - Joe Simpson
The Oxford Book of Exploration - Robin Hanbury-Tenison

There are tons of Dragonlance and similar books that I rate highly, but we could be here all day
