Is anyone else here married? Happily?

I have been married for 4 years now and I have to say even though we have our times all and all I have never been happier in my life. I really love my husband and our daughter has only made the marriage that much stronger.

Marriage, I am not married yet, but I am engaged to a wonderful girl. Actually we just got engaged one week ago. I am very excited

Congatulations! My sister just got engaged about a month ago and they are getting married next August. I bet you a busy with wedding planning already??? My sister was on it like the next day!

Thanks for the congratulations. Well she has started planning the wedding, but Ive only been doing minor things (Im not allowed to do anything major) I dont mind though. Shes been dreaming about this her whole life so I want it to be the way she wants it to be. Im fine with doing grunt work. No important decisions

LOL, Reading that reminded me of my wedding. I did not allow my husband to do anything that could possibly be messed up, which means that he really didn't do anything without me being there, I even went for the tuxes and all. GOOD LUCK and BEST WISHES to you both!

I have been married for 8 years now. We are very happy together and enjoy doing almost everything together still. I guess you could say that we are each other's best friends.

My parents celebrated their 38th anniversary just the other day.

Listening to some of yall I feel so young (20).

As for marriage, yikes, don't think I'll ever do it. I have a strong phobia of commitment and a general distrust of people lol. So you can see my position.

I've been with my g/f for 4 1/2 years and we stay together, but I don't think marrige is on the cards. Not our bag so to speak.

I've been married 12 years. The best and the worst thing I ever did.
We had our ups and downs, but things seem to be a bit more even keeled these days, so all's well.

Im 20, and ive been with Chris (the other half of SD) for about 18 months.. first uni halls and now we share a house with a few mates. Gonna be a few years before thinking about marriage i think!
