Jack White

I am a big fan of Jack White and both of his bands: The White Stripes and Raconteurs. Does anyone else get into them?

Re: Jack White

Hi, Trick. Yup, Jack White is cool. I really like the White Stripes, they've produced some fantastic songs. I've only heard one of the Raconteurs songs, the first one, but I really enjoyed that as well.

Re: Jack White

I would almost consider Jack a god. He's an odd fellow but just about everything he touches turns to gold. Not many songs of his I don't like.

Re: Jack White

Yeah, I agree there, he continues to create brilliant and catchy songs.

Who can't help bobbing along to "7th Nation Army?"

Re: Jack White

I like Jack White too. I really liked the last White Stripes album Get Behind Me Satan too. I have only heard some of the Raconteurs and liked what I heard.

Re: Jack White

Eh...honestly Get Behind Me Satan was their worst album. I'd say try Elephant first, then maybe White Blood Cells, but their older stuff is more bluesy.

Re: Jack White

I disagree with you. I liked Get Behind Me Satan. I have White Elephant too and liked it.

White Stripes

I really like both of Jack White's groups, The White Stripes and Raconteurs. Does anybody else listen to them?

Re: White Stripes

I'm going to merge this with the other thread about Jack White, seeing as they're both the same topic!...

Re: Jack White

I found the Racontours album to be generally good, what amazed me though was the few songs that had almost a Beatles influence/feel to them. Anybody else notice that?
