Re: Queens of the Stone Age/Eagles of Death Metal

Eh well I could see them doing that actually haha...but I don't know if that was their intention this time or what. I'd have to get back to you on this because I'd love to know what my friend thinks...he hails them as gods and has met most of the members and has a good explanation for everything...

Couldn't agree more. every single kyuss album is simply awesome. all QOTSA albums are mediocre and never contains more than 2 half interesting tracks.

Queens of the Stone Age was my first 18+ gig ever. F8kn insane. Got to go front row cause I'm short with the local bogans. Still one of the best gigs. Saw them a couple of months ago at the V Festival in Perth. SO GOOD!

Re: Queens of the Stone Age/Eagles of Death Metal

I've seen both live, EODM once and QOTSA twice. Eagles were lots of fun, and the singer Jesse Hughes was a great showman and really charismatic. It was in Ireland, and he even changed the lyrics of "English Girl" to "Irish Girl". Well, at least that's what I remember anyway! I didn't really enjoy QOTSA the times I saw them, which is a shame because they're one of my favourite bands and I prefer them to EODM. The first time I saw them the sound wasn't so great and there were a load of scary fuckers around me, and the second time the sound was fine but I was really far away so that certainly hindered my enjoyment. Hopefully someday I'll get to see them and have a great time because they really are such a fantastic band!

Re: Queens of the Stone Age/Eagles of Death Metal

ive seen qotsa twice - both during era. they are so damn good live in my opinion. ive never seen eagles live, but i hope on this upcoming tour (im guessing along the release with Heat On).

the band(qotsa) has said they might go back into the studio as early as september - which will be very exciting. if mikey and dean partake in this album itll be interesting to see what they bring to the table.
