*Pushes thread walls back to make a nice, comfy space...shifts some furniture in...squishy chairs and long sofas and low tables...wheels in a drinks machine*

Right, welcome to Conversation and Relaxation! A place that does exactly what it says on the tin... Come in here to have a very informal chat with other members who circulate IRT. A nice little respite from the confines of the other threads, where you have to at least try to stay on topic!

*Grabs some tea from the drinks machine*

So...ahem...let the conservation begin!

How was/is everyone's day? (taking into account time zones!) I've done very little in the way of productive work today. But I have done some reading, which always makes Hoopy a happy lassie

What about everyone else?

I think this is a great idea, thanks. Myself I have done much of nothing today. Home sick with two sick kids. So needless to say I am ready for bed right about now.

Well, it's technically an idea I've stolen from another forum (tee hee) but I think a place to just have random conversation is a good thing to have. And it allows us get to know each other a bit better, at least!

Aw, sickness, poor you. And I can imagine dealing with sick kids isn't a barrel of laughs when you're not feeling great yourself! Hope you feel better soon!

I've been painting my house for the last few days, which as most people know is a fuckin' horrible job.

And I am trying to give away the cigarettes (again) so I feel like I am on the edge a bit.

With what? The painting or the smoking?

Ha ha, nah cheers.

I am just basically cutting down and weening myself off bit-by-bit. I used to smoke 20 a day now I am down to 0-3 a day, so I am hardly what you would call a heavy smoker now (unless I am drinking alcohol).
