Last.FM

Anyone here a member of last.FM?
I'm very tempted to sign up and have some kinda generated list of what I listen to and what I would like.

If you have an account please post a link to your profile.

I can't say I have an account, dialup, although I have looked through it. I personally would rather create my own sigs, but heh I can't say I can do it that good. Pretty good site, I reckon you should check it out

Last.fm is down for some reason. Looking forward to seeing what you listen to though.

Expect similar features from MusicDistricts soon.

A similar sort of thing is pandora.com , you don't have to download anything, and it finds some unpopular bands, unlike last.fm, which only finds really well known ones (in my experience of it)

I've had a few people recommend pandora to me, I really need to try it one of these days.

I see you have a pretty wide range of music taste.
I like that you have The Editors on there

Looks like a great site, thanks for pointing it out. Looks like the social bookmarking revolution is taking over everything.

The Editors are one of my favourite new bands, saw them at Ibiza Rocks not long ago and they were awesome.
Do have quite an eclectic taste I suppose, dont understand people who will dismiss other types of good music simply because it belongs in a genre they usually dont like.

Trouble with last.fm for me is I listen to quite a lot of obscure remixes from well known artists so it will often show up that i've been listening to britney spears or something when in actual fact i've been listening to a remix that sounds nothing like original, doesnt do my street cred much good
