do you like cradle of filth?
My brother in law is a big fan, he goes nuts about it..... and i admit that i find it hard to follow!

They aren't death metal. They're extremely watered-down black metal. And I don't like them one bit.

I saw them once at a festival, now, the music in my opinion sucks, but the stage show was cool as fuck! a girl swinging by a rope held in her teetch easy 100 ft up!
I could have seen them another two times but i hated them so much i left the building to smoke then the next time i guess i was so drunk i didnt even notice, in short i wish i did go see them becouse the live show was cool.....even if the music did suck

The rope swiging sounds damn sweet.
As for Cradle of Filth, their music doesn't seem special at all to me. Just another pop death metal band.

Filth are the tabloid face of UK Black Metal and have been for at least 5 or 6 years. I don't really care either way about them. Its a bit silly, but its not really that heavy. I don't like much black metal stuff at all appart from Anal Nakrath and 1349.

I have their Nyphetamine album. I love the song Nymphetamine as it's more gothy than Black. I do like a few of the other tracks too. I'm personally not bothered about songs where you cant understand what they are saying.

I think Cradle of Filth have done a lot for Black metal as they have bought it into the mainstream and I think that's a good thing.
