I like Day of Fire, and Demon Hunter are pretty good. Skillet and Pillar are great

A lot of people I've met who claim not to care what the lyrics are about (i.e. cannibalistic necrophilia) will still shy away from christian lyrics. I still haven't worked out why.

You can't judge a band based on what other bands are like, each one has its own sound

Anyway, the best bands have many different sounds for different songs.

Er, yes, I can. If they sound like "Pantera" mixed with "Disturbed" I can say with 100% certainty that the end result will not sound like hardcore. It will sound like dumb jock metal.

I know this because I spend £1000s of pounds a year on hardcore records. None of them sound like Jock Metal.

Not to dig up an old thread but I just registered on this site and saw this. Do any of you really even know what hardcore music is? It sounds like kingmob does. But underoath, disturbed, pantera, I mean come on this is not hardcore at all. Get your facts straight. There is good hardcore christian out there, xlookingforwardx, Call to preserve, Alove For Enemies, Bloodlined Calligraphy. I can go on and on.

The devil wears prada is probably the best new christian hardcore band. they're lyrics are beautiful, and they're music is ammmmmmazing.

Creed is disgusting.

Music is music, what a band decides to do is their business whether it be bring a religious message into lyrics or not. and it's up to the listener to take it for what it is or not listen to it. Organized religion for the most part has become out of control. You don't need a church, temple, roof or a priest, pastor, monk or monkey to have faith. Humans can't even agree on whether or not to save the earth or save a bit of money... how can anyone expect to agree on a religion. sad but true.
