Streetlight Manifesto

Hands down, my favorite ska band. Like Catch22(due to similar members) but much better. I can't quite put my finger on it. But I can say that its like a more advanced version of Catch22, because they have so many mor instruments and much better percussions.

I feel like you just can't have enough instruments. the more instruments the better!

These guys are amazing....and if I were to choose my favourite ska-punk album ever I would be hard pressed to decide between their first album Everything Goes Numbe and Catch 22's first album Keasbey Nights.

I agree that SM sound like a more mature Catch 22 but I do laos like the rougher sound of Keasbey Nights....

.....this is too hard.....I put them joint top just to avoid having to choose.

I really prefer the Streetlight Manifesto version of Keasby Nights so much more.

I'll admit that I have only heard a few songs from the SM version and they did a good job of making it sounds different and original.

Any idea when SM are going to release some new original material, it's been a long time since Everything Goes Numb?

fucking awesome band
i havent heard a concrete date yet but i guess the 23rd is possible i know theyve been working on new shit
as far as the keasbey nights redo, depends on what you liked first i grew up listening to catch 22 so that was an amazing album for me, they redid a lot of good stuff for the streetlight version and its altogether a much better flowing album, songs all sound better but if you loved the original its tough to get used to
awesome band

I definately know where you're coming from with this.
Don't get me wrong I LOVE the Catch22 version, but the Streetlight version brought so many new elements to it.

Everything Goes Numb was awesome. I found Keasby Nights a bit redundant. I don't see why everyone sucks the orignals dick so much anyway.[Dinosaur Sounds is so much better] And I'm looking forward to the new one as well.

i hated dinosaur sounds
and the original is just that, the original, so it will always be better for most people who heard it first and grew to love it the way it was
