but it's always the aspiration. to do what you love and live off of it. most of the hXc bands i talk to personally have given up everything, live in their van and make their living off selling merch and such not.

I like DIY hardcore. DIY hardcore bands have jobs and lives just like anybody else. This means that the music they write comes from the same place as everyone else, not from the pampered crib of some spoilt would be rock star. It is a political statement as much as it is a musical one.

AHhh fuck Ive been waiting for my password to reset so I could fucking post in here, since the beginning - alright Im back to MDforums, for aslong as i remember the password!
It looks as if its Me, Kingmob and r0ckl0bster taking this one out on our own. If Alexisonfire is hxc then I give up listening to music! And the S/T album which Ive heard from annoying friends playing it over and over, I would say I would EVEN put it against Crispus Attucks' Red Black Blood Attack, which is a killer album sporting songs that don't reach the 2:10 mark |
