Well perhaps they were trying to bridge some sort of weird gap, who knows. I'm not a big fan of MCR but I liked a couple of the older songs.
However, I can look at this at an unbiased view and say, why would anyone stick around after the band they came to see just to throw stuff at them?
I wouldn't waste my money or time on that.
Flip em the finger, yell something out and go home and not get beat up by security.
I don't like a lot of people, but you wouldn't see me wasting money to throw things at ie Britney Spears, Avril Lavigne, any other yucky pop singer/whiny brat as much as I'd like to haha.

Slayer were put on before MCR at Reading, hence why tons of people stayed on to bottle them, as a protest against the organizers for putting Slayer below such a shitty band.

i dont like slayer much either, but its because its not my cup of tea. but i believe they do some good stuff. like em or not, gotta respect them. an they certainly do what they really wanna do, an been true to the style for over 20yrs. cant say the same about those bunch of emo kids...

haha, the most stupid thing i've ever heard really.

They're NOT from the same genre. I would say they're not even from the same art-form. MCR is a product, what ever they were before is not important now they're a product invented to sell i don't even talk about them in terms of music. Slayer on the other hand is music, they're metal and they're legends. Im not saying i like their music (i do like thrash but there are a lot better bands) but they are legends, can't deny that. IN 20 years you will still be talking bout slayer, but i can darn well guaranty you won't be talking about MCR.
