Smashing Pumpkins Getting Back Together?

I've been hearing this all over the place, but does anyone know if there is any truth to this? Because I haven't heard any solid facts. And I thought Corgin was done with when I found out he was with Courtney Love (how blind must Billy be?).

No, I don't know if it's true or not. It would be awesome if they do get back together though.

From what I heard

It's just Billy using the name again. There's no real reunion, but then again, he was most of the band anyway, especially on their earlier records, he played everything except drums for the recording sessions.

If you go to their website it says they're working on a new record. It doesn't have anything, but on the bottom is says so.

I mite be really dim, but I thought they ahd a new album out? something along the lines of 'first album in 7 years' I saw it today cos I bought their greatest hits, so I just assumed they were 'them' again?

Well I guess all they really need to be the smashing pumpkins is Corgin, but I just don't think they'll ever be able to follow their earlier stuff without the originalish line up.

Re: Smashing Pumpkins Getting Back Together?

As long as the band has the same vocals I would enjoy seeing them at a reunion show
