I like them myself. I didn't at first but they have grown on me. As for people throwing stuff at them they really need to just grow up. I mean I have seen bands that I thought were terrible and yes I might not have been happy but that is when I don't waste my time or money on that band anymore.

Agreed. They get overplayed and any chance they have of being cool gets ruined when you see 9 year old girls singing their songs. That puts them in the same category as the...dare I say it...backstreet boys... LOL

They just took the hooks that've made songs huge in the past 20 years and applied them to each and every track they record. In doing such they totally kill the impact and subtleties that using one such device would garner a song, but instead the cynical arranging and mastering of their records end up sounding like the retarded bastard child of their forefathers. A totally blackhole sucking, emotion lacking, 500-pieces-from-6-different-12000-piece-jigsaws wank-rock experience.

yeah i personally am not a huge fan of them...they sound like everything else and unorginal... im on a new thing now were i like to listen to bands that are orginal and bring something new to the table... might be just a phase

the new band im stuck on is salt and samovar...i recommend them

Nickelback doesn't bother me. I am NOT a fan of their material in any way though. I think they are unoriginal and they sound far too similiar to other bands. (i.e. Hinder, Creed, Metallica, etc..)

But I have to say, they figured out the formula and they are making a living off of music (and a very good one at that). I wish I was doing the same rather than working in my cubicle every day.

I love these threads you see them all over the internet because people don't listen to enough music to know there are far worse bands. I'm not saying that these guys are great (they are a chick band) cause there not, but you have far worse bands like Hinder and the one I hate the most is Jet Black Stare. You guys are picking on a band that will never be remembered 20 years for skill or creativity, just one that can put together a catchy tune. When there are some bands out there that I don't think will even be recognized for that. So what I'm saying is stop f*cking with these guys just cause there popular and actually listen whats out there on the radio today cause if your picking on these guys when bands like Hinder and Jet Black Stare are releasing albums your F*cking idiots.
