Good artists Bad Albums

Are there any artists that you love, but they made an album that was just horrible? What were they?

The newest Against Me! record is beyond shit.
I liked Metallica until that load record, which put me off them forever.

Most bands hit a turning point when the albums stop getting better and start a downward spiral.

Hot Water Music are another one, everything up to No Division is a classic, then a couple of iffy ones before BLAM "The New What Next" and they might as well call it a day....

I think more and more serious artists are starting releasing "bad" albums. Good music doens't sell that good so they need to "change" their style to cater to a larger audience
