Getting worse or better

Ok, I was talking to some guys at work tonight. Some thought that rock was getting better, others thought it was getting worse. I'm kind of a toss up. I grew up listening to a lot of 80's bands so I love the rock from then, along with some older stuff like Joe Walsh, Eagles, etc.. I do like some new artists, but to me, some are seem like they are going more towards "pop". Maybe its me, because I never really cared for some of the "grunge" bands, and found different music to listen to during that era like Punk.

How do you feel? Is rock music getting worse, or is it getting better?

Punk is rock music.

There will always be crap bands. As long as there are crap bands, there will be people inspired to start good bands.

I think rock is coming out of a low slump now.
I think its getting better.
