Dragon Force

hey guys ive been listening to this band Dragon Force for about 5 months and they're awesome the guitarist Herman Li (my fav guitarist) is awesome its super fast paced except for the singer lol but i highly reccomend it!
tell me what you think

yeah, i saw them at the metal hammer awards (dvd!) and they are amaizing performers, i dont really like the songs but gotta give it to them, they are amaizng musicians.

The problem with Dragonforce are that all their songs sound basically the same. Fast, fantasy-filled, generic power metal. If they'd try a different formula for every song they'd be worth listening to more. Speed isn't enough, I guess.

Power metal is great, don't get me wrong, and so is speed. It's just when every single song might as well be another, a band loses its appeal.

I don't question their ability as super fast guitarists but I find them boring (and yes all the songs that I have heard sound the same). To be a really good guitarist you have to have feeling and they are clinical in their approach.

They are amusing to watch, and aren't bad to listen to. But I only take 1 or 2 of their songs on any playlist, since they all sound so similar.
