Social Distortion

I saw them at a festival 4 or so years ago, didn't bother to get any of their stuff until the last year or so. But I think they are an excellent band, and have a different sound than most of the stuff out there.

Have you ever seen the Film "Another State"? it follows Social Distortion and Youth Brigade on Tour across the states in a old school bus. They make it to DC to play at Dischord house with Minor Threat before the bus dies. Its really funny, Mike Ness is about 19 or something, just this little skinny kid in Eye liner.

Surely Social D qualify as punk rock?

I was thinking about if they should be put under punk or rock. If someone else will suggest this be moved I'll go ahead and do it.

As for the movie, it sounds very interesting! I'm gonna check it out soon, maybe get it for x-mas.

Ive been into SD for quite some time, reach for the sky in my opinion is absolutely their best song. Must have on any of my playlists.
