See when I was about 14 and first firing into the Mary Jane, I liked Portishead and Massive Attack for big smoke sessions. These days though Sabbath and all Sabbathy are essential listening. Although I have got more and more into Sabbath as I've got older too. Put Sweet Leaf on. Smoke a bowl. Although I'm not touching them post ozzy (or for any of the reunions, I don;t like seeing old bands trying to relive the past).
There's a live bootleg that does the rounds on slsk and the like, from a gig just before Sabotage came out. Possibly the single greatest Sabbath moments ever, complete with drum solo. |

How old are you btw KingM?
But yeah, I think it is my little ritual to break out the pool cue's, rack 'em up blast some sabbath (among other bands) grab a cold one and just have a good fuckin' time. Or alternatively, set up the poker table, texas hold 'em and blast the classics. I've steered away from going to shitty/annoying dance clubs and shit. Like I used to do that, with all the shitty dance music & paying too much for alcohol and whatnot. Then again I suppose that was more in pursuit of pussy than enjoying my surroundings/music.

I've been to a few really amazing dance/club nights. But I've been to a whole lot more terrible ones. When I was 21-23 I had a real run on clubs, taking E and dancing all night. But I was never that connected to the music, it was just the soundtrack to being really off my tits. |

I seen some dude I somewhat knew go into thermal meltdown after taking X, and water intoxication. That scared me away from that shit forever. (Although I had no intention of ever using it (XTC) in the first place, but if I ever did, that made it clear I shouldn't).
I have had good times at clubs as well, but very rarely. But to get back to the point, if I smoke pot in the future, I will surely listen to Black S. ![]()

Ack, most E related deaths are to do with the drug being cut up with nasty shit and/or the user being an idiot. If it was legal and regulated there wouldn't be the deaths. Just like there was very little bad trips from LSD untilit became illegal.
