Embrace are great. However, as far as Revolution Summer era harDCore, I personally prefer Rites of Spring and perhaps even the highly underated Ignition.

Have you heard the Current Cover version of "Dance of Days" they used to host on the council records site? Its really good.

if given a choice i would probably take rites of spring too to be perfectly honest with you

what kind of quality do you mean?
overall sound? songwriting? recording quality?
i personally like ros's overall sound more than embrace
they both did a lot for emo music as a whole though
