Saetia vs. Hot Cross

you make the choice, which billy werner project would you pick
i take saetia just because hot cross really doesnt impress me that much, i heard the new album is supposed to be amazing, but nothing else theyve done is really over the top, and billy's voice isnt like it used to be, plus now only one guitarist

Saetia's instrumentals remind me a lot of Explosions in the Sky!
Plus the agressive vocals on top...very nice mix.

I like Hot Cross' vocals a lot more. This is a tough decision but since I'm in a mood for it this time of year I'll have to go with Saetia.

Saetia, Saetia, Saetia. One of my all time favourite bands.
The first Hot Cross Record "New Set of Lungs" is dynamite, but after that I was less impressed. The backing vocals can be a bit dodgy. Still, I think they're still trying to find their sound, there is the potential for a great record there. In places its almost Maiden-Mo (Iron Maiden tainted emo, haha.

Saetia were a total one off. Few bands can carry off such pretensious lyrics and make them sound like they mean the whole world.

I have a leaked version of the new explosion in the sky album on as we speak.
