Reading and Leeds Festival 2007

This is probably only really for UK residents but I wondered if anyone has managed to grab tickets for these festivals this year? I went in 2005 to Reading and had the best weekend of my life. I didn't really think about it this year but then...oh, but then I saw the line-up and now I'm absolutely kicking myself for not getting a ticket.

Red Hot Chili Peppers
The View
Maximo Park
Kings of Leon
Razorlight
The Klaxons
Arcade Fire
Fall Out Boy (OK, this is one of the bands that I don't particularly care about )
Nine Inch Nails
Smashing Pumpkins
We Are Scientists
And many more.

Yup, I am absolutely distraught. Especially because the first three bands are three of my all-time favourite bands. I am a HUGE Red Hot Chili Pepper fan. Grr.
I'm considering buying a ticket from Ebay, but they're very expensive...

So, anyhoos...who was lucky enough to get a ticket then?

Re: Reading and Leeds Festival 2007

I got a great bunch of tickets!

I'd heard the rumours NIN would be playing, that'll be the third time I see them this year. And I'm looking forward to seeing Arcade Fire again after their great show in Manchester this month. I first got into them after seeing them at Leeds festival in 2005.

Aw, you lucky, lucky thing! How's about stowing me away in a bag and taking me with you?

I've seen Red Hot Chili Peppers before, but combine them with the awesome-ness of Reading and...well, that would just be the most perfect weekend of my life!

I've only been to Reading Festival once, 2000 I think it was. It was far better than Leeds in the beginning, but since Leeds changed location it's been much better.

Only ever been to Reading, but gods, it was absolutely brilliant. And not just because there were so many great bands there, but the whole atmosphere! Especially the campsite at night time...complete madness

I know what you mean Hoopy, the time I went to Reading there were about a dozen of us it was brilliant. One night Eminem headlined, I think, so we just p***** off to the fairground and still had a great time.
