Yellowcard

Yes whatever you may think, Yellowcard are punk. They are awesome. Particularly Ocean Avenue, great album.

Man my typing is shocking today. I could have written this thing twice with all the mistakes I've made.

Little skater kids aren't they?

I do enjoy listening to that album though, I really shouldn't but it's like a guilty pleasure. I can picture myself in those long shorts with a chain hanging from my back pocket.

Re: Yellowcard

Way too mainstream...yes. Almost all bands are now, except Aussie bands that are only played on Triple J.

Re: Yellowcard

I can`t stand Yellowcard. Their songs are nauseating and I change the radio every time one of their songs comes on. I can`t stand them, and they are sooooooo mainstream alternative. No way can they be considered punk.

Re: Yellowcard

They weren't always mainstream, not when I first started liking them. And what are you talking about, them being played on the radio, they never are.

Re: Yellowcard

I hear yellowcard on the radio a lot around here (ohio) and I must say they are most certainly and positively NOT punk. I'm not bashing them. I may not like them but I respect them as a band. Calling them punk though is a very very very big mis-statement.

Re: Yellowcard

Hey don't blame me for putting this in punk. I asked a friend what genre they thought yellowcard were and they said punk so I just didn't think about it.

Sounds like you intended it, but who knows? I'm just reading what you wrote. -.-
