Currently, sucking up a bit of Vonn which is about as extreme as I've come across. Also liking the Boris/Sunn o))) split.

Re: Doom, Drone, and all things extreme and unbearably slow.

How did you get hold of the Vonn track, just out of interest? we should be releasing it...

Definately the most extreme music ive ever come across. 80 mins of that relentless dirty distortion and tortured screams.. have yet to play it to anyone who didnt feel ill afterwards. genius

i love that collab.. so many say its a disappontment but i think its my favourite material from either band. Saw the 3x12" version in a shop yesterday for £30. went to take out some cash to get it and when i got back it had gone

Re: Doom, Drone, and all things extreme and unbearably slow.

It came into my hands via secretive backroom "you didn't get this from me" type channels. It wont have spread far. But yeah, its pretty much the ragest thing I've heard.

I'm not a huge fan of Sunn o))). The white stuff left me fairly unmoved. But I could defenietly get more out of the work with Boris. That said, I love most Boris stuff.

thats cool about Vonn.. keep it to yourself though and make sure you buy the CD when we do it.. i do promise packaging to match the grimness of the music. Check out another of our bands too.. Naked Shit. just recorded us an 80min one-track album of ambient sludgy doom...

Probably by association, we probably know lots of the same people. I'm part of the Cold Dead Hands Collective in Edinburgh, we do shows for a lot of the more diy underground stuff that comes through. I post on collective.

Probably. Basically, we can never promise money on support slots, but we feed and sleep etc. Hit us up on out myspazzy sometime (myspace.com/colddeadhandscollective).

How vulgar.
