Bright Eyes

Surprisingly enough there is no thread
Cassadega leaked, my second time through it I'm somewhat starting to appreciate it, it's not bad.

Re: Bright Eyes

I loved Fevers and Mirrors, but I didn't really like any of the other albums much. Sceptical to the new one.

Re: Bright Eyes

Bright Eyes is one of my favorites. Fevers and Mirrors is probably my favorite, followed by Letting Off the Happiness.

I don't care for Cassadaga much, like its enjoyable but I don't see myself listening to it much once the newness wears off. It relies way to heavily on production and nothing stands out to me much.

I really like the song, 'The Calander Hung Itself' It's pretty good. However, i'm not a huge Bright Eyes fan.

Re: Bright Eyes

Conor has the ability and song writing talent to become a really great artist, but sadly his albums don't quite live up to the hype that follows him. Waste Of Paint is a fantastic song, if he could only bring the emotion portrayed on it to the fore a bit more often, then he will be great.

Re: Bright Eyes

I think he does frequently except for wide awake/digital ash/cassadaga. Basically all his early EPs, Fevers, and then a bunch of stuff off Noise Floor like Happy Birthay To Me, Ive Been Eating (For You), Blue Angels Air Show, Drunk Kid Catholic as well as others on it.

Fuck Cassadaga, fuck Wide Awake, but listen to every thing before that.

Re: Bright Eyes

They're definitely different, I don't know about better or worse. Matter of taste, I think.
