The Modern / Matinee Club
Although my music collection contains more NiN and Gary Numan, I'm really getting into these guys. Originally called The Modern, they're still a little unknown (though signed), but they have great hooks. The songs are quite dark in an upbeat electronic vein (kinda The Human League meets The Cure), and their (girl) singer is HOT
 They were featured on the Whitby Goth Festival broadcast on RockWorld TV (UK Sky channel 368). It's poppy and I'm not scared to admit I like it!!! |
