Daft Punk
One of the major pioneers in the house genres. I can't stand their first album, but I love everything after that. According to wikipedia, the name stems from a bad review they got during their earlier project together, Darlin', claiming that they were "a bunch of daft punk". It's such a cute story. : )

Re: Daft Punk
Daft Punk are amazing live. I personally felt the album 'human after all' was a little hit n' miss, but they really stand up there. Their first album was a relevant and progressive piece of work for that time - I personally rate it far higher than their last. Daft Punk are very special.

Daft Punk being Daft Punk they will prob leave it for another year after the album release befor they do any live stuff. They are notorious for taking their time lol but they did get great response from the last tour so maybe they will do a tour sooner. |
