Circle Takes The Square

Really good screamo band, I love the male/female vocal trade offs and the lyrics are genius. As The Roots Undo is amazing, i've had it for a year and have yet to tire of it. Their split with pg. 99 is really good to, I don't listen to their 04 demo much. I'm so stoked for the new album.

Recommendations:

Crowquill
Same Shade As Concrete
Interview At The Ruins
Patchwork Neurology

I put this lot on when they played in Edinburgh about two or three years ago. One of the best shows we've ever had. Everyone knew all the words and was right up in the bands faces screaming them back at them.

That sounds awesome.. id love to see them live, but only played the UK once since ive been into them. Cant wait for new material.. As the Roots Undo is totally flawless but i must have listened to it a stupid amount of times.

CTTS are great musicians, but I still can't stand the vocals.

How can I be posting in this forum and not like them? They can undo my roots any day.

Re: Circle Takes The Square

I notice they been advertising for a keyboard player on their myspace. New stuff is going to be even more over the top I recon.

Eww... Hopefully they can pull off the keyboard, but what I'm picturing just doesn't sound good.

Re: Circle Takes The Square

Keyboard is an interesting idea... i trust them with it, they're too serious musicians to end up sounding like Trencher.

although i do like Trencher..
