Guitar Hero

I'm assuming that quite a few people here have played either Guitar Hero I or II, and was wondering what their thoughts were on it.

Personally, I thought it's a pretty good game, great for parties, and easy enough for anyone to play. Also, because most of the songs are good it makes the game better.

All I know about it is what you have told me.

Re: Guitar Hero

As a guitarist, I frown on such rubbish. If I didn't play guitar, I guess I'd love it as something that helps me get my frustrations out.

I also hate air guitar... what a load of cack. People spend more time practicing this pathetic dancing than they could invest in learning to play for real.

I agree with all you say here, but I must say I hate air sex more than air guitar. Crazy Japanese!

Sure, real guitar takes more skill, but have you played it? It's fun, and while you may be good at real guitar, you might be shite at this. It's not the same thing.

Re: Guitar Hero

No it couldnt be because on a guitar you have something like 32 frets and 6 strings. I would like to see a game like that. It would take alot of skill.

Re: Guitar Hero

A couple of my friends and I went to a game place to play it, and when the guys asked me and my friend Amanda if we wanted to play, I said no but she agreed, so I whispered, "Choose the Ramones and the advanced setting!"
I laughed so hard at the expression on her face when it started! (She doesn't really know about the Ramones)

Re: Guitar Hero

From what I hear, there's some guy who can play it on expert without looking at it. If it's true, that's a little too much playing.
