Inveraray Castle is a pretty remote place to hold a gig, but the line up looks good: Announced so far Jesus and Mary Chain, Bjork, Primal Scream and Beastie Boys, among others. Seems like there are still tickets left, and though it would be a lot of travel, would be tempted to go - only we'd have to bring the kids with us and they don't allow under 5's. It looked good. There's a club night based in Edinburgh Called Vegas! that do big 1920's big band, swing music with burlesque performances and such like, they're doing a vegas! tent at this festival.

Damn, I wish I'd know about that place when I was living near Stirling - went out just the once in Edinburgh and wandered around the pubs along the Royal Mile. Was looking for something alternative, but didn't find anything.
