perhaps this might not be the right 'sub-forum' for this but anyone like Battles? they've been recommended by a number of friends but i've not been able to get hold of their stuff. they're on warped records but they're a proper band and make kinda crazy electronic stuff as well.anyone know which is their best record etc? they're touring at the moment i know, hopefully gonna check'em out in London

I'd have put The Battles in the Indie forum myself. They're more a guitar based band than electronic. They're alright though, not killer, but I wouldn't switch 'em off.

I love the B EP/EP C release they put out last(?) year.

The album so far i think is a bit hit and miss. i dont like the use of the vocals though they're growing on me a little. The first album track though is awesome.

People have warned me off the album cause of the vocals. I like the EP's in places. When they're good they're really, really good. When they're bad they awfull.
