Giddy Motors should be better known
...but probably never will be sadly.
![]() Like a heavy mesh of The Pixies and Sonic Youth, with a healthy dash of jazz experimentalism, and plain mentalism. Their Myspace. Their label Fat Cat records in Brighton is ace too, even if this isn't a very typical act. They boast Animal Collective, Mum (with the little do-dad over the u), Panda Bear, the occasional Sigur Ros (more do-dads) and plenty more excellent artists.

Re: Giddy Motors should be better known
They're definitely worth prolonged listening Lob, though as with most acts I'd say give an album a spin, as you can't really get a good feel for a band listening to singles only.
