Prince

You have to admit that Prince is very talented. I have always loved his style. I guess you either love him or you hate him, and I happen to love him!

Re: Prince

I like Prince's music a lot. Always have, but when I saw him play live that made me even more of a fan. He is an amazing musician and an amazing performer.

Re: Prince

I loved Prince way back when. I don't care for what he has put out though in the last few years.

Re: Prince

I used to be really into Prince - bought a load of his 12" remixes and saw him perform twice - never really kept up with what he was doing after Diamonds and Pearls, though - think I much preferred his work before Lovesexy when he was still using a lot of real instruments instead of layers of synths.

Purple Rain, some of Around the World in a Day, and Sign O the Times have some great tracks, though I figure Sign O The Times remains his best work of what I've heard so far.

2c.

Re: Prince

Though I'm not a signed-up member, I do like his current way of distributing his music (at least I think he's still doing it). Basically, you become a member of his website for a set fee each year, then anything he releases, you get. With someone as prolific as him it's got to be worth it. Does make it rather difficult for new fans to get into his music though.
