Anyone else here listen to the Kaiser Chiefs?

Saw them briefly on TV during the debt relief concerts a couple of years ago, think it was on stage in Philidelphia, and liked what I heard so bought Employment, which is a decent album.

Now bought the latest - Yours Truly, Angry Mob - for my girlfriend and it's got a different twang but still enjoyable.

Anyone here listening to Kaiser Chiefs?

Yeah! I quite like them, haven't heard much of their new stuff, but I really like all the old songs from the Employment album.

I've also seen them live twice, once when they weren't quite so famous at the Carling Academy, Birmingham, then again about a year later at a huge gig at the NIA. Also, this second time I went to see them, I also got to go to the after show party, meet the band and get pictures taken with Ricky (the lead singer). He was so drunk.

They're a decent pop band. Better than most of what came out of brit pop.
