Re: Decent indie bands?

If you wanna listen to something new, check out Rachel McGoye, i just love her voice and she can totally rock the acoustic guitar. Google her or check her out at myspace. My favorite song by her is "Try Try".

This is slightly off-topic, but I don't think I 'get' the Arctic Monkeys. Why were they so acclaimed when Whatever People Say I Am came out?

Re: Decent indie bands?

I've been listening to Of Montreal's song Disconnect the dots for a couple years now and I never grow tired of it. Their album Satanic Panic in the Attic is so good!

I really like this band called Tilly and the Wall also. Instead of a drummer they have a tap dancer

Re: Decent indie bands?

I'm not sure if it's classed as indie but a band I love lots is IAMX - its the brainchild of chris corner from the sneakerpimps. If you liked the sneakerpimps late stuff check it out.
