Is it just me or is the arctic monkeys new album well overrated? Don't get me wrong I aint hater and im a massive fan of them but theres is no chance the 2nd album is better than there first!! Tunes like Old Yellow Bricks Only Ones Who Know are well ordinary. The sould have spent a least another year writing and recording! What You Think?

Is it any suprise? The sort of music they do, you tend to find that the first album better captures the energy.

The first song on Favourite Worst Nightmare is great - that's the entire reason I bought it.

But after that track, the whole album just flops into a substandard mode.

If they'd have kept up the creativity on the first track through most of the album, it could be great - but at present, it's little more than a one-hit album, and the rest of the tracks just sound like album filler.

the melodies are beautiful while keeping it up-beet and fun.
