Re: Silverchair

I lurrv them other than most of Young Modern...and I only need Neon Ballroom to have all their albums. My favourite songs of theirs are Madman, Cicada or anything from Frogstomp actually and probably Lie To Me. Cemetery isn't bad either. And of course Freak, Anthem For the Year 2000, The Greatest View and Tomorrow.

Faultline and Tomorrow from Frogstomp, Pop Song for us Rejects from Freak Show, Ana's Song from Neon Ballroom. Haven't listened to any of their CDs in ages. I guess I'll be pulling those out tonight *g*

Re: Silverchair

Frogstomp is my favorite... I remember being 14 when this came out and it blowing my mind that these guys were just a year older and had such a good album out! Yea, they went for radio play on that last one but I bought it and like a few songs off of it anyways. I was just glad to have something new.

Re: Silverchair

It's weird, nearly everybody don't like the New Modern album. I think it's great. Reminds me to the beatles, it's experimental and the songs have such a great structure and you notice that he got over all his problems he had (e.g. Ana's song)... It's great.
But I really like the old albums as well =)

Re: Silverchair

They are changing, like earth keeps spinning.
I love their latest album "Young Modern".
I could feel a little "Tim Burton" like in this album. kinda fantastic.
Especially, the song "If you keep losing sleep".
