Re: Anyone else a tad bored of Music at the mo?
ozric tentacles are great pretty unusual, Sonic Youth, Celebration r pretty good, some recent Biffy Clyro Stuff's worth checking out as well. Acoustic Ladyland are an amazing band that fuse Jazz, Punk and Rock n roll - Really high energy stuff - like nothing you've ever heard and mahavishnu orchestra are legend

It is def. easy to get bored...Indie rock has got a tad too comfortable. But there are certainly bands out there that are challenging and rewarding listens. Check out Yeasayer, Dirty Projectors, Bon Iver, and Phosphorescent

Re: Anyone else a tad bored of Music at the mo?
There really doesn't seem to be anything particularly exciting around at the moment... Its strange but (IMO) everything seems to be either too polite sounding or (at the risk of sounding really old) a bit tuneless. Don't get me wrong, I like noise, but everything is either a form of hardcore/metal or, if not, acoustic troubadours with no other gear...
