Well I personally consider Bad Brains to be Hardcore Punk, and judging by the time they were around I think that they belong here to be honest.

they are hardcore punk. The problem is people, for some idiot reason, changed the meaning of hardcore so now its somehow realted to metal(?). Great band though. I even like the rastafari-shit they did.

Yep. Quality stuff. By the way, I agree Ozma. When did hardcore begin to mean emo/metal? I'm so tired of every time I say Hardcore people say shit like,
"Oh yeah, you mean like Blood Brothers, and Circa Survive?" Ugh!
