trip-hop?

anybody particulary into the genre? there aren't many things i prefer over chilling the fuck out to massive attack or tricky.

i listen to some triphop and trance and such. if you like triphop and music of the sort check out portishead, grey area (the chillout band, i think there are two bands with this name) and infected mushroom, see what you think. I have a friend who is a transfer student from France, introduces me to alot of good music like this, most stuff i've never heard of.

portishead are classic.
infected mushroom don't really float my boat.
i'm more along the lines of tricky, terry hall, mazzy star, beats that allow me to enjoy the music without being tripped up on acid.

Nobody mentioned this, so I registered just to make the input. My favorite all-time trip-hop band is the Sneaker Pimps. Their album Becoming X is amazing.
