Well, now that I have your attention, I'll get to the point. By the end of this semester, I have to write a 20+ page research paper on the genre of indie rock and its listners. In order to learn more about the listners of indie rock (I am one, by the way), I made a questionnaire. I could perfectly understand if no one wanted to fill this out, but any responses are helpful. 1) What types of music do you most enjoy listening to?
2) What types of music do you least enjoy listening to?
3) Is there a difference between Alternative and Indie Rock? Explain.?
4) Do you play any musical instruments?
5) About how much money do you spend on music in one month?
6) About how many albums or songs do you have on your Itunes library (or in general)?
7) About how many hours a week do you listen to music?
8) Where and when do you prefer to listen to music (ex: in your car, at home on a record player, with earphones, etc...)?

13) Do you read music reviews frequently, casually, or never?

17) Does the type of record label (i.e. major or independent) that a particular band is signed to, affect the way you feel about the band and its music?
