Re: Indie Labels?
I really don't know, I use to like the big ones alot when I first got into but Sub Pop isn't technically an indie label anymore but I've always really liked their stuff. Then there's the whole Omaha scene, Saddle Creek has some good bands but they seem to jock the same stuff which gets old after awhile and Conor's label Team Love releases way way too much crap, it seems like he'll sign anything with an acoustic guitar. I like Kill Rock Stars a lot, minus all that punk crap they have Elliott and the Decemberists and stuff are really good. I don't really know, Rough Trade is also good the Smiths, Belle & Sebastian, The Fall...shit! I don't know, I guess I'll go with the easy answer and say Sub Pop.
