a moment of silence for dying songs
This is one of the first things I sung..tis very bittersweet..lots of heartache here..I used a keyboard and made this wind chime like sound so it sounds more playful and innocent. The singing has an old time vibe to it.
Crucify my every word, distilled and lost and frayed, Edges on all my thoughts that no longer give you praise. Keep me still my blackened heart, till the day we cringe to part. Memories lost in kaleidoscope of memories nevermore nevermore in my soul and it's gone-forgotten in crumpled newborn songs of times I wish to keep for long. All the things I wanted to commemorate in the passions of the past, all dead and vacant at the bottom of the forgotten trash. Piles in heaps of gold and glittered green, forever lost to a dyeing dream. Forever lost to unspoken words I fear to say, Words written in the same language that begs them all to stay. |

Re: a moment of silence for dying songs
I like it.. doesn't sound forced, which is often a problem with song lyrics. oh, and bittersweet is good.. happy songs are for people who are still naive about life
Call me cynical! |
