Re: Favourite Indie Songs

When I think of good pure indie songs, I think about the first few songs that made me get into these bands a few years ago, which further led into more experimental bands. I view these songs as like the most poppy of indie.

The Shins - "Kissing The Lipless" and "New Slang"
Spoon - "I Turn My Camera On"
Death Cab for Cutie - "Title & Registration"
Rilo Kiley - "Portions for Foxes"
Flaming Lips - "Do You Realize?"
Rogue Wave - "Eyes"

Re: Favourite Indie Songs

Any song off of Built To Spill - Ultimate Alternative Wavers. I have fond memories of each and every one of those songs. It's crazy how most BTS fans don't even like that album. It's the first BTS album I bought when it was first released in 93'. Of course, it was the only one available. And it remains my favorite.

Re: Favourite Indie Songs

Augie March has a new album coming out btw, and it's leaked on torrent! I don't have it... but I want it.

Death Cab for Cutie = awesome.
