Lightspeed Champion Rules

Hi i'm new to this forum, so I would like to say hello to anyone reading this thread.

Secondly i have decided to amke it my mission to find lightspeed champion fans, so if you are a fan of the one they call Dev. please reply to this thread.

i havent listened to the album much but what ive heard is really good, he could become a new indie favorite of mine if i listen to it more

Yeah, I've been playing it a fair bit lately and think its pretty darn good, up there with the good stuff. my favourite song from them though would have to be No Surprise (For Wendela) / Midnight Surprise [Reprise], from Falling off the Lavender Bridge.

Lightspeed Champion is playing at this years splendour in the grass. Along with sigur ros, vampire weekend, cold war kids, the wombats, band of horses and the panics to name a few.

had to put the album on after reading this, which was difficult as everything i own is packed in boxes right now.
im a big fan of the one named dev too, missed him when he played in liverpool a month or so back, rly like gallaxy of the lost aswell and the vidoe to that is great, its so random. i dont know what my favourite song is tho most of them have got great lyrics

I heard about the album around the time of its release and I heard good things about it. I recently decided to check it out and I'm in love with it. Im searching all over for live versions on youtube and such. I also downloaded his "I Wrote and Recorded this in Five Hours" LP. I heard he covered Green Day's Nimrod- the entire album. I cant find that available for download anywhere. I am certainly a huge fan of this group. I really like the solo acoustic sessions of him ive found on youtube. I hope he comes out with a new album. But his album that came out in January will probably be my favorite release this year.
