Green Day

Oh my god. I think these are my favourite band, I know almost all there stuff and I really want to go and watch them but I need to find out when they are touring in the UK again, hopefully soon .

Cool. Listen to all the songs on "International Superhits". It's a best of album and most of the songs on there are good :P.

It's amazing that in 1994 they were the biggest band in the world with dookie. then, 11 years later they did it again with American Idiot. What other punk band has been able to maintain mainstream appeal for 13 years without sacrificing their core sound/image/attitude/values. Green day never sold out, and still sold millions of records.

Loved Dookie and still play it on a regular basis - liked all their albums up to American Idiot.

I don't know what it was about American Idiot - I've only played it once in it's entirety and have had no inclination to play it again yet. I don't think it's a bad album - I just found it boring and Billie Joe's fondness for 'puns' more irritating than usual.
