Why did editors do so well and Interpol remain fairly unknown?

I really like interpol! I've seen them twice here in Italy. Amazing!
Turn on the bright lights is a great album, but for a long time i was addicted to Antics (I adore C'mere...Not even jail...).
Also the new album is not so bad, Pioneers to the fall is a great song, live was really enchanting
