Death Cab for Cutie - "Narrow Stairs"
Is it just me or does this album suck? I've tried so so hard to get into it but the only songs I like are:
Bixby Canyon Bridge I Will Posess Your Heart Cath... and Long Division I'm a huge DCFC fan, but I cannot get into this record. Am I crazy?

At first I was disappointed with "Narrow Stairs". Cath... was the only stand out.
But time took it's course and now I absolutely love the album as a whole. I say, give it more time? |

No Sunlight stood out for me on the first listen just because its more catchy.
I really like the album overall. Long Division is probably my favorite. Its not their best but I definitely wouldn't say that it sucks. |

i think it's a great album overall.
different, yes, but that shows that they are "evolving", so to speak musically. long division, and probably cath are my favorites. they are also amazing in concert. =] |

I adore this album. Of course it has nothing on Transatlanticism, but I think it's brilliant.
I really didn't see the big deal with Long Division and Cath. My favourites are Grapevine Fires, Bixby Canyon Bridge, I Will Possess Your Heart and The Ice Is Getting Thinner. I'm seeing them in August. I can't wait! |

im not as huge on it as the past ones but i dont mind it, it's a good listen when im in the mood, i really dig i will possess your heart and your new twin sized bed

I've only given it a few listens to be honest. With all the other Death Cab albums as soon as I listened to them I fell in love. Something's missing with this one and I'm not sure what it is.

When I heard about this album I hadn't even thought about DCFC in years. I think its a good album, and this is coming from a guy who's favorite death cab cd is "something about airplanes".

bought the album with great expectations but had to be dissapointed. all song can be listened and aren't really too bad. but they seem to have gotten too pop. by that i mean that they are still and indie band,but not as much as they used to be...
all and all "grapevine fires" gives me chills everytime i listen to that song  and "i will possess your heart", with its powerful ending and amazing bass line is just on loop for me |
